There were many reasons I got a divorce. I will list some of them for you:
-his mother was more important than me
-he worked 7 months of the year and expected me to support him the rest of the time, even though I was under treatment for chronic pain, even suggesting that I get a second job while he sat home and watched tv
-he bought a Harley Davisdon motorcycle while I drove a crappy car
-he didn't care where I was, who I was with or what I was doing
-he disrespected me in front of people, especially his family
-he tried to lock me in the house
-he treated me as a maid and roommate
-I got sick of being treated like a piece of dog crap, and finally one day I couldn't stand the sight of him
I am happy to say that I am remarried to a much nicer man who spoils me rotten :-)
Best wishes in whatever you decide to do. It's not an easy choice.

Divorce should be your last option. If you are here looking for a reason to divorce you spouse that is just wrong.the bible gives only one reason for divorce adultery .try to make it work.if you spend your time trying to make your spouse happy and your spouse does the same you will both be happy .love is not an emotion love is a commitment you make every day. when you started dating you found out you liked this person and made a decision to love them

My mom divorced my dad because he was cheating on her for years and she wasn't going to take it anymore. Especially since we kids were getting older and noticing the actions ourselves.
My aunt and uncle got divorced because my uncle was very controlling and didn't have any trust or respect for my aunt which hurt her very much.
My friend divorced his wife because after awhile he felt he was just in it for the kids and didn't really love her anymore and didn't feel there was even a friendship to try to build on.

Sadly, it was after we had two children and I saw that she would jeopardize their well being for her own agenda. It was like she was missing those built in maternal instincts. She would also have emotional shutdowns that would last for days, like living with someone that wasn't there. It was really creepy. We were young and immature. If I had the maturity then that I have now, I probably would have stayed in a bad marriage for the sake of the kids.

My Mom and Dad divorced (back in '82) because they didn't love each other and couldn't coexist anymore. You don't need us or anyone else to validate your feelings, if you arn't happy then do what you think that you need to do.
