because they can rub against other things when u take ur wallet out and open it up, and this can create a hole or weak spot in the rubber... not to mention, if you forget that it is in there for a while, they can get old, then when u need to use it, u whip it out and its no good anymore because it has deteriorated a bit, although u won't know this till the girl is pg...

It swashes the juice out of them.
If you use it on the same day though, you should be OK.
