No you can't, I wish you could b/c I've wanted to change the set-up before...but it's always the same. The top 6 teams make it with the top 2 getting a bye in the first round. This is a post of the official playoff rules from Yahoo!... ( put ***** around the part that answers this question)

"All Head-to-Head Leagues must participate in fantasy playoffs beginning on Monday, September 3. The playoff systems will be the same for all Public and Custom Leagues, and will follow the structure detailed below.

Championship Bracket:

Week One
Bye: First Place and Second Place
P1: Third Place vs. Sixth Place
P2: Fourth Place vs. Fifth Place

Week Two
P3: First Place vs. Winner of P2
P4: Second Place vs. Winner of P1
Fifth Place Game: Loser of P1 vs. Loser of P2

Week Three
Championship Game: Winner of P3 vs. Winner of P4
Third Place Game: Loser of P3 vs. Loser of P4

Consolation Bracket:

Week One
Bye: Seventh Place and Eighth Place
C1: Ninth Place vs. Twelfth Place
C2: Tenth Place vs. Eleventh Place

Week Two
C3: Seventh Place vs. Winner of C2
C4: Eighth Place vs. Winner of C1
Eleventh Place Game: Loser of C1 vs. Loser of C2

Weeks Three
Seventh Place Game: Winner of C3 vs. Winner of C4
Ninth Place Game: Loser of C3 vs. Loser of C4

If you are in a Custom League with less then 12 teams, the system will work the same, except that all teams will receive byes until there are enough teams to fill all of the spots for a given week.

*****Playoffs are only for Head-to-Head Leagues and, regardless of size of your league, no more than six teams will ever participate in the championship bracket.*******

Additionally, the fantasy playoffs do not include any real-life professional baseball playoff contests.

And, keep in mind that players on teams that do not make the fantasy playoffs or are eliminated from the fantasy playoffs are not released back to the Available Players pool.

To support the ideas of fair play and sportsmanship, we encourage all managers to retain their players even after they have been eliminated from championship contention."

...I hope that answers your question.

income Cap won't be able to contract the hot England section communities through fact of historic previous and gross revenues, yet i'd contract Kansas city, Pittsburgh, Washington DC, and San Diego. i understand 3 of the 4 have new stadiums (interior final decade), yet all of them are responsible of doubtless no longer attempting to win. i'd provide the Marlins a huge gamble pondering they do no longer spend something, yet are a minimum of aggressive. They and the Twins and Oakland to an volume must be the type for the communities like Milwaukee, Cincy, etc. i'd additionally make all the gamers who're beginners enter the draft. not greater cube ok stuff the place Boston, Yankees, Mets, and Dodgers get all the remote places adult men. the adult men they get doing which would be appropriate 20 selections interior the draft if the policies have been different. it relatively is in comparison to they're getting a left exceeded expert off the bench.

yes yu can change it but once yu have the draft yu kant change it. lyke for example i had the same problem before, so what i did was make the leauge for 20 teams but allow only 10 teams in the league so you can have all 10 go to the playoffs. yea.

I think that as long as you are the leagues commisioner, you can go into league settings and change the playoff format
