I have this holocaust project for my school. I have to write a small made up story. I started but then i got stumped. What did the Germans call their guns back then and the holders for the guns? I know that they used to have a different name for it, but i just can't remember.

Their Pistols were generally Lugers and their sub-machine guns were schmeissers. I do not know what heir holsters were called though.

I cannot answer the specific question you are asking but don't listen to segenovmoltock. He's probably in denial and doesn't want to admit that it happened (or he's just an idiot who likes to mess with people).

If you want to learn more about the holocaust you should get a personal perspective. I highly suggest you read the book MAUS because it changed my life. (pronounced "mouse" but spelled "MAUS".) It is an amazing and deep true story about how one person somehow managed to survive the holocaust (and is written by his son).

guns were called guns, and holsters were called holsters, and if you were in Germany they used the German words for "guns" and "holsters"

also Gilgamesh is mistaken. The SS were the top troops, rather like the Marines, feared and reviled, they had lightning bolt crests with two S's. One of the tank models they used were called Panzer, and they were used in Africa and Europe.
