Stick it into the computer when you're checking emails in an internet cafe!

What you need is a apple ipod usb power adapter. You plug the adapter into the wall and connect the usb cable from the ipod shuffle to the mains adapter in the wall. It costs £19.00. Its a bit crazy that it has to rely on a laptop to charge it. I suppose they were trying to cut down on the cost, its a false economy.

Ok this is simple because I have one and couldn't figure it out.
If you look behind the tower you will see some slots under a bunch of plugs, called a USB port. Insert it in the second one.
If it won't go in at all, switch sides. If you have the wrong one, it won't charge, the battery button won't light up, and you can't put songs on it. You should Know easily whether its plugged in the right one, because if and when iTunes pops up, it won't have an iPod icon on the left side.
