Since I've been on antidepressant meds I've lost my stubborn ambition.

Yes. I often wonder why more people don't do it. Before I started my meds I DIDN'T like to lay down and relax all the time...I wasn't really relaxing. I like to do it now because I don't feel crummy about it. Perhaps you should consider switching meds if you are missing that stubborn ambition.

Unfortunately that seems to be one of the side effects and you have to stop yourself from giving in. You will end up being terribly overweight (on top of dealing with the weight gain of being on the medications) & living in a pig sty.

Make sure you go somewhere every day.....a walk....to a gym...to a pool to swim. Any kind of exercise.

Yeah, same with me. I would much rather relax than venture outside to do anything, but at least I am not as stressed out and anxious as I was before.:)

some medicatiosn do that to you - they make you feel lazy/tired...not sure how long you've been on them, but it might still be the depression - that takes a lot out of you - if you think you'll be in them for a while, perhaps changing to another one that doesn't make you tired (eg. i cahnged from zoloft to ciprlex) it might be worth talking toyour doctor about
