Windows Media Center?

Question

I downloaded the new Window Vista Ultimate. On my Windows Media Center I have recorded a TV show and now I can't watch it. I get a Video Error, that files needed are not installed or not working correctly, restart Windows Media Center or your computer.

I have done both and I still can't watch my recorded show. I still get the error message. What can I do?

Well.......youl just have to give vista time. Like with anything new it wont work 100% out of the box.

Go to run on the control bar type msconfig then select services, run down the list to see if the graphics card or driver has been stopped. Be carefull in this mode, you can really change the way your computer operates and what programs you will be able to access. If some of the services are turned off, click on control panel > administrative tools > services. then go down the list, click on the service you want to turn on once. On the right side you will be given the option to start the service. you will then need to restart you computer. good luck.

i had a simliar problem.. sounds like a codec problem, Look for a codec software thats compatable with vista. Nero 7 or dvix should work fine.

okayy properly all i will say is that I actually have a living house windows vista whether it incredibly is a computer. so it incredibly is a sprint distinctive. once I logged in there become a good purchase of courses that popped up, yet that's all i will relate to. on each and every occasion i pressed X on the administration Panel that pops up everytime i log in, it asks me "do no longer pop up once you log in?" so i press no. i advise that's distinctive ceremony?.. i dunno.
