Just dab the stick on your cheek "apples" (try smiling to see them) and then just smooth it/blend it over the cheeks apples nicely. Don't put a lot on though, start with little bit. It's easier to add more then to start from square 1.

when using blush sticks for make-up,you have to smile as big as you can so that your check bones will appear and then dump the blush stick a little bit on the water and scrub the stick on the make-up and apply it on your checks upward.

Everyone has their own ways but the way I do it is first to put some lotion over my face then take the stick and gently brush it on.

rub the stick in a circular motion over the apples of your cheeks. ]
then rub in with your fingers or a makeup sponge.
