Because the MEDIA outlets seem to think that we (the Average American) want to be INFLICTED with all the NUTTY, NASTY, Drug-addled and Addiction activities of these CRAZY 'Celebrities' who have too much time on their hand, too much $ for too little effort, and DO NOT Feel like spending time finding the "Average American" and reporting on the GOOD that the AVERAGE Citizen does in their daily life.

Supported? How, exactly, like Anna Nicole Smith, for example? Nah, there's no support, people just sadistically enjoy their fall and that creates a lot of buzz that you might have percieved as support. Think Marylin, Jane Mansfield... That is not to say we should feel sorry for them, don't get me wrong - they make their own choices and thus deserve whatever they get. But they don't get suport, that's my point.
