two speedstream 4200's, two enthranet cards, one hub,,,, will I go faster if I bridge the two enthra net cards, are use the two dsl modems,, and how would i configure this?

Well to the dual cards,, with all do respect,, I bridged the two connections and I got a 1.4 mb boost. conscistant,, 1.1mb download speed,, which puts me 4.9 to 5.2mb download for a 6.0mb dsl connection, using PPPoe.

You can only use 1 DSL modem on 1 DSL connection. If you try to connect both, neither one will connect. Same with the ethernet cards. Your computer will only slow down because it has to deal with two pieces of hardware instead of one. The best way to get the fastest speed you can is to make sure your comp and all its op systems are up to date, Defrag your HD on a regular basis, run disk cleanup once a week or so, don't run any more programs in the background than you absolutely need, and maintain a good Anti-virus / spyware subscription and keep it up to date, and purchase a good registry cleaner to maintain the registry in good shape. I have invested in these things and my 3 yr old gateway is running as fast or faster than it did new, and have been up and running (except for short reboots for updates) the entire time.
