santana will give you points no matter what. he is so good that his worst record could be .500 which will not happen. there are a lot of hitters out there near as good as pujols but no one comes within the range of santana.
from a white sox fan who has had enough of santana shutting down my sox!!!!!

Both are going to offer you huge production, the difference is that Pujols is going to do it six days a week and Santana is going to do it once a week. Take the safe bet with Pujols and fill in your pitching rotation later on with lots of the guys who will slip into later rounds like Brett Myers and Jarrod Washburn and Tim Hudson. Those types of pitchers never go early and always put up decent enough numbers to round out a solid pitching staff. Hudson said in an interview he knows he sucked last year and he spent all off-season working on it, so he's due for a big rebound year.
As far as getting Carpenter and Crawford in the third round...I wouldn't count on it. Carpenter is the number two pitcher in the draft and Crawford is a top ten pick easily. Unless this is like a four team league, I wouldn't expect to see either of those two on the board past the middle of round two.
Just remember to draft a balanced team. If you're drafting first that means you have to wait for everyone else to draft twice before it comes back to you...assuming you're drafting snake-format...so bounce back and forth between pitchers and positions players on each selection so you don't have build up one and leave the other too weak.
Good luck.

The final time a tumbler in the AL hit a grand slam replaced into 37 years in the past. Santana did no longer cope with Hernandez as he might a known participant on the plate. Pitchers are seen to be particularly much a undeniable out, tremendously AL pitchers considering that they so not often bat. Santana did no longer do his pastime. David Wright's errors gave Seattle an "extra out" yet a 2 time Cy youthful winner takes each and every batter heavily. Santana might desire to have been in a position to get Hernandez to make the third out. Hernandez has had purely 9 plate appearances. A grand slam surrendered to an AL pitcher with little batting experience is disgraceful. stable going Johan !

that's kinda chincy that u gave yourself the first pick because you are the owner, but that's cool. I would say pick Albert. He always produces. As does Johan but you can replace Johan with guys like Zito, Carpenter, or Oswalt.
