The elections already proved that most Americans can see past the lie of trying to link support for the war with support for the troops.

Psycho, Bushleaguer, Real Estate Paralegal, TheonlyBeldin - Thanks for your evasive non-answers.

El Indio- You're the kind of moron that helped the Reps lose seats. Keep up the good work.

Mother - Your math skills need a little work, there is no denying that a MAJORITY of Americans don't support Bush's policies. While I somewhat agree that non-binding resolutions=BS, that's no excuse for dodging the issue by not voting.

Andy G- Your response isn't just evasive, it's disingenuous. Yes, Congress has a low approval rating, and currently it's even lower because congressional reps are polling a full 10-11% below Dems. Next time try to avoid cherry picking when you post links to polls.

Increasingly, Americans are relying on the evidences rather than than allowing themselves to be manipulated by fear-mongering.

And that's not just Democrats.

17 Republican Representatives voted with the Democrats yesterday, and 63% of the American people are opposed to sending more troops to Iraq. So that translates into many millions of Republicans who are opposed to investing and risking any more American lives in this war.

Most Americans is an over statement. The seats that were open for election was not all the seats. We will see in 08 how the whole country feels. There is no misconception from the troops, you are either for them doing their job or not. You are the ones trying to muddy the waters. NON BINDING RESOLUTION = B.S.

Because of the democrats ability to "shoot themselves in the foot." Their approval ratings are 32% with there bogus 100 hours. It can't be a strawman argument if it is true and the numbers are proving that they are just as much accepted as Bush (according to the polls)

The same nutjobs are still running the GOP. They'll end up losing in '08 also. BTW, most Bushlovers called me crazy when I predicted they'd lose 25 to 35 seats in November. Denial is really hilarious.

Because after already being in office 2 months or there about...we can see that the Dems just want to do the same as they have for the past 10 years...NOTHING...they whine..complain..place blame..but offer NO resolutions...they offer NONBINDING resolutions and words but lack in actions

Because they know the Democrats will piss away the vote they got in 2006.

Because they're indoctrinated and their belief is fragile... so fragile that they need to resort to those kinds of empty statements.

We're looking at ideological fascists here.
