Yes I certainly do. The more you learn about it the more you realize that human nature is never ending. Let me explain:
When I first started to understand Psychology it was more like a science. Now a days, it´s more than science. I´ts linked to spirituality. Not in a religious way. People are beings that have a hard time deciphering their feelings because the are "intelligent" creatures. Psychology can teach us to express our feelings the right way. With respect to others and more importantly to our selves

for me, it only seems to be interesting when one has experience with the disorders that characterize mental illness, it's difficult to fathom how some psychiatrists can come up with any reasonable ideas on mental illness when they've never had the mental illness, it's like working on an alien, or working in the dark; and those psychiatrists have not been very effective, it was only about 40 years ago that they found out that the reason why people are upset is because they think about sad things

if you were going into battle, would you rather have a commander who's been doing this for years, with a lot of experience and knows what he's doing, or someone who's had extensive training but no real battle experience?

who do you think would know more about what blind people's dreams are about, a blind person, or an 'expert'?

i hear some people say they wish they had visual hallucinations because it would be cool. i have only a little experience with hallucinations and i can assure everyone, it is NOT cool. sadly, those 'professionals' are now claiming that hallucinations may not even exist, that it is simply psychosomatic or false memories of things; it's no wonder psychiatry is the most disputed and controversial aspect of health care

Certainly; my major interest right now is neuroscience. I first became interested when I thought about constructing an artificial conscience. I'd really like to find out exactly HOW humans perform cognitive functions, most importantly thought. It's really amazing to me how two people could debate over something, take offense to something, how humans could reply to a question and arrive at different conclusions...

Psychology isn't so philosophical for me as scientific, because I'm pretty sure it must have such a basis. Discovering this basis among a mass of neurons and glial cells, though...

That's what really interests me.

Yes, it is very interesting though I never studied it formally. I am a student of human nature and find that psychology helps me get some good answers.

To each his/her own!
I would rather read a good mystery or science fiction book. Same genre.
