I need to block a site on fire fox and IE 7. Don't tell me to go on my control panel, then go to Internet settings because I've tried that and it didnt work.

I don't know about Firefox, but you can't block a site in IE7or any other version of IE as far as I know.

You have to buy a third party software package to block sites.
Such as NetNanny...or any other babysitting software.

Not really sure you can block a site without special software. If you're talking about spam coming in you can block it using your yahoo mail settings. It would have helped if you were more clear about your question.

you can use third party software NetDog : http://www.netdogsoft.com
it's easy , just add the website to "always blocked website list" in NetDogAdmin.exe

internet options-->security tab-->click the "restricted sites" icon-->sites-->add the site
