I used to have this book......?

Question

I forgot what it was called, but I remember it had to do something with a woman named Belinda. I know it wasn't the Anne Rice(Rampling) book. She lives in New England, her family has a *I think* a clam business. I remember that towards the end she married someone from the other one so they can merge the business and they picked on him because she seemed to be more in charge than he was.

This is driving me nuts. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If it would help I remember the cover being like and emerald green.

~I remember something about a psycho sister who was........easy.....and she had a baby.....they buried it in the back yard and never spoke of it.

~I think she was first engaged to some egotistic guy and threw the ring in the ocean.....
