somethings in my explorer, virus program is a free one, and my windows wont load nortons i bought. it floods the explorer with numbers so i cant type nothing in...help

sounds to me like you have a trojan dear. your best bet is xoftspy or spyware doctor. I personally use both of these. If you can not afford to get either of these (one is $20 the other is $40) download spybot search and destroy...you may have luck with that one.

goto prevx.com and download from the red download button. it is a trial but full program and will fix any virun in your system. it is one of the best viral program. it's better than norton and the rest. it will do the job.

if you know when this started, one easy way to try and solve the problem is to run a system restore:
Start menu-->all programs-->accessories-->system tools-->system restore, and follow the directions there
