There I am eating lunch when a dance off starts right in front of me. It was apparently to settle a conflict. Whatever happened to plain old fighting?

and i thought my town was screwed up... but we still fight a lot..... they actually keep a cop at my skewl so we don't fight (yes this cop has a gun and a night stick and stuff) and his name is mr. whistist (yes i know him personally and so does evry1 else in my skewl who has evr been in a fight.)

I agree with you. But it depends on what the conflict was and where you are located.In California that is how they settle conflicts.In the Northeast that is how they settle conflicts also.
