whats difference btwn good friend in real life and a good friend on net?

...i m clear abt one thing,,,,that...if both are really good friends ..then whats differ. btwn them?

Either one can be a good friend. People lie on the net and in person. The only difference is that one can tell through non-verbal cues if a friend is lying. How can one tell on the internet?

If the person is good it doesnot matter whether it is a net friendship or a real friendship. Both have their own advantages and disadvantages. A real friend is availble more easily to share your problems in person..where as a net friend is more restricted with the distance. We must admit, even with your best of best friend it is difficult fo share your all personal problems as you always fear of loosing their friendship if they dont like what you are telling them...But sometimes you can be more free with your net friend as you know you can share anything with that person without bothering about how he or she will feel. Anything you can share..tell as you are not afraid of your impression infront of that person. There are instances where a real friend..who is available physically, in person..has also told you lies and cheated you. So if a person has to cheat you ..he or she will cheat you irrespective of being on the net or in person with you. but if the person is good and understanding he or she will be with you despite of all the distance, the obstacles..etc..

there is no difference if both are 'real' friends. real life friend can lie, too. and the first meeting after talking for months (or years) with your net friend might be even better than your meeting with 'old' real life friends.

actually it depends on individual as somethimes may be net friends r good and may be sometimes real friend r good but for real friend 1 thing is clear that by knowing them and talking to them personally u know the person ery well and may be net friend is cheating u and for net friend the most imp disadvantage is if he/she wans to avoid u he/she can get invisible and u cant catch that person and maybe ur net friend is not there when u need them as they may have their own personal reasons.

so for me i wuld prefer my best friend to be in real but 1 thing i wuld like to say is i have got 1 net friend who is very nice and i trust him but due to my personal problem i cannot be online even though if i want to talk to him.
