No, you can make one by mixing HCl and Zn. The gas that will evolve will be H2.

However, due to some safety reasons, you may not try that one at home because HCl is dangerous. Besides, some countries are alarmed by the chemical warfare. I am not threathening you but just to informing you that someone may think that you are a terrorist that you will end up in jail.

its much easier to buy it at the store, so why would you try to make it at home? It seems that capturing it would be a pain as well.
