life is full of wonderful things and new experiences. it is just a matter of how you put it. although you might have gone through some rough times as many of us have.. but the key to life is to go day by day, take the new probelms you have at hand and just take 1 by one. if you try to do too much at one time then you will be over whelmed and possibly fall into a depression. people live for a lot of different things in life. so what i suggest is to live and strive for a goal that you want and give it your all. although sometimes you may feel like nothing is going your way or everything may be falling.. but the truth is.. god has a plan for everything.. and never stop praying.. everything that may seem very difficult.. will just make you stronger in the end. so try what i said.. and oh yeah.. one more thing.. if life gets too hard and you feel like you have no one to talk to.. write it down. whether it be in a journal, stories, poetry.. anything... it truely helps. ok.. i hope i helped! atleast a little bit! 8-)

in what sense? philosphical, sprititual, science?

science has not come up with any true ideas about why people live, given that they will only let their ideas surface after considerable testing and experimentation, which is not really possible in this case

philosophy has an entire subcategory dedicated to this, metaphysics

as for spirituality, this isn't in the bible, but doesn't christianity preach that giving is the greatest virtue, and gives you the greatest happiness? wouldn't giving love be the ultimate gift? if that were so, we could already be in heaven....
