I think the Chinese copying that strategy is safely out of the question.

Which secret plan might this be? What president has ever revealed his war strategy to the general public? I'm a bit confused about why you are so interested in this. I haven't once felt entitled to know the military plans for the war. I just kind of figure I'd leave it up to the military and just mind my own business.

I don't think he has ever come up with a winning Iraq war strategy. He ignored the advice of the military since before the beginning of the war; in fact, he fired anyone who criticized his ideas. He ignored the suggestions posited by the Iraq Study Group, headed by James Baker, a trusted advisor of his father! He has no winning strategy.

i got no clue what strategy you're referring to.

however, i'd love to say that any president sharing his strategy to win a war with the general public deserves to lose. what an stupid way to fight: let's TELL THE ENEMY what we're gonna do so they can be prepared!!!!!! if you get in a fight with a bully, are you gonna tell him, "ok let me hit you in the right eye now." think he would? or would he block your hit and hit you back?

i cannot believe the general public thinks they need to know any strategy the president has going on. it should be a SECRET. and the editors of the NYT should be in jail. Truman would have thrown them in jail, to be sure. Bush needs to do the same.

Because he is a liar and a deciever and didn't want the Americans to know that he had no reason to invade Iraq. And - he has no strategy to "win the war in Iraq".

Because he was getting his information from a sociopath that was addicted to war..Now that rumi is out of the picture we as a country need to unite and support anything the president does even if you dont agree with it..Gates is professional about his job and should be given a chance..So stop complaining ..Bush is only human.
