Can I use a spermicide gel and a sponge together to help lower the risk of pregnancy?

Yes of course but the best way of preventing pregnancy is not to have sex. I think the pill is the safest way of prevention.

Spermicide cou;d soak up in the sponge and create more of a problem than a help. You run a high risk using a sponge of gel. Neither are more than about 85% (at best) effective.
Planned Parenthood provides free birth control, which is really the best option next to abstinence.
Be safe rather than sorry- look into taking better care of yourself than just guessing. I would reccomment that you look into getting condoms rather than relying on the gel and/or sponge.

Yes! The more protection you use, the less chance of getting pregnant there is going to be, but remember, spermicide and sponge don't protect against STD's, so unless this is going on with a partner you're seriously going to have for life, then use a condom too! That'll at least help a little.

go to the doctor and get the depo shot or birth control pills and use condoms this is more reliable and less messy and less time consuming
