i have a 10 gallon tank and 5 convits im going 2 get a bigger fish tank should i put the 5 fish in the bigger fish tank or keep them in the 10 gallon fish tank???? how do i know if on of them are pregnant??????

Convict don't technically get pregnant, they lay eggs. You will know when the female is ready when she has breeding colors ( orange color on her belly) and when she is plumper than usual. They will pair off and clean a place in the tank and keep all the other fish away from that area before they breed and lay the eggs. Once that happens they will continue to guard their spot in the tank and the eggs.
A 10 gallon tank is too small for other convicts to stay in the tank once a pair has formed and have eggs or babies. The pair will kill the other fish because they want to keep tem away from te babies and the other fish will not be able to get far enough away. You need to get that bigger tank as soon as possible and move your convicts.
