Evil has a religious connotation to me.
As in "God" and the "Devil" influencing our deeds.
Our deeds, the evil ones, as you are seeking to discover having been committed by anyone, are merely deeds of ignorance and confusion.
God or the Devil have nothing to do with these.
We are the ones, outside of wisdom, who through confusion, at whatever level, commit wrong actions.
