In my class we are doing a civil war project and we need to make dresses with a hoopskirt. We don't have tiome to sew this, or buy it... and we have the fabric. We just need ideas on how we will make it poofy.....

make the fabric EXTRA HUGE and then stick a hula hoop under it. It's very funny and it works well for civil war times! i bet you could find hula hoops at a cheap lil store like a Job Lot if you dont have any. ;)

Ask a neighberhood mother if she would mind, then maybe bake her some cookies or a nice gift afterwwar. Im not sure how to get it poofy though ;(
