I knew a girl who said her sister married a German man and he hated it when she shaved her legs.

Is this true or another American "foreign stereotype"?

There's a measure of truth in that. Germans appreciate that the women who are best at the physical side of a relationship are those who have the highest levels of male hormones. That means that the women who have high levels of male hormones are sought after and considered desirable. So having limited breast development, havingvery hairy legs and having a moustache are actually considered positive points for a woman in Germany and in some other European countries.

I think that trimmed neatly or a landing strip is fine. Completely bare is just prepubescent. If a guy tells me that he doesn't like hair and he wants it completely shaved then I always think that it's a little creepy or that he watches too much porn. I know people will disagree with me, but I think that adults are supposed to have hair and there's nothing weird about it. Just as long as you keep it neat.
