Dunno but it annoys me

The other day I answered a question with an answer that had two meanings I got best answer and 10 or so thumbs up everyone thought it was funny

I answered the same answer to a similar question and because Americans answered I got a violation

How does that work?

No, it hasn't driven me to other sites...but it has made me very wary. And very sad. I was away from the computer for a long time. Just recently came back because there's a lot going on in my life right now and I need the distraction. And the sage wisdom of people my own age who made it through similar situations. And just simply the familiar lightheartedness and chuckles that were always abound here in Y/A Seniors. As for the one who causes so much trouble, I'm sorry to see he's still around. And it's crazy that he's been getting away with this for years now. Wanna hear something funny?.....I finally got my first two violations~ever!~within the last month or so. Didn't hurt me a bit, lol, but there's no doubt where they came from. Thanks for posting this question and giving everyone a chance to speak out. It's been a while since I've seen some of these long-time members...and there are even a few other familiar faces/names who acknowledged their approval by leaving stars. Have one from me, too, Spike. You earned it!

US Yahoo! Answers gives any question from an English speaking country, so Americans are answering questions from Americans, Canadians, Australians, New Zealanders, and obviously those from the UK and Ireland. There isn't something on the question saying where the question is being asked.

All the English questions are lumped together. If you don't like it look on the left side of your page when you are in the All Questions page and near the bottom is a place where you can click to see ONLY the Q's for the UK or you can opt to see ALL the Q's in English.
Please click the one that says UK only and leave us non-haters alone.
Peace

It's probably down to Yahoo! - they're merging the English speaking countries addresses (URLs) probably or something like that.

They should add a little flag to each user, saying which country they're from! that would make things easier.

the questions are posted in categories, not on a certain board. for instance, if I asked why are the ENGLISH, so snobbish ? it would show up on the ENGLISH board, also. if You are afraid of the answers, don't post the questions.

I'd rather it was Americans were immigrating into this country, never mind into Yahoo.

This question was in society and culture - not a UK group. I am confused!

Isn't Yahoo an american company? Maybe they might tell us to stop using their site?
