I have an 82 d150 that had the wiring pulled apart several times over the years before I got it. From what I can remember about the engine wiring it is very similar to the dart/duster. any ideas on whether it will switch over to a d150 with the same slnt six?

firing order of the engine will be the same , the ign. run setting should be less than 12 v going to the coil , start setting is OK to see 12 v , this should be an easy thing to do with patience a voltmeter and a soldering iron . good luck

Should be pretty close. You might have some extras or be missing some depending on what options the car had. But you should get it running with what you have.
