He's been relieving me of mine for the last thirty years.

Have finally given into temptation and ordered DVDS of the proper Star Wars versions which should have been on the last release as far as I'm concerned.

I don't like the special editions, who wants a film they've grown up with to start doing something else?
But now I'm going to have them twice.
Three if you count the VHS version.

I've proved pretty resitant to the prequels, well I think they're awful, this still hasn't stopped me wasting money on going to see them, buying videos (they get worse with each watch), and I must admit have been tempted to upgade them to DVD.

How else is he going to sting me for more cash?

By releasing them in 3D (Coming soon)

Also his 3D Cartoon series (Out very soon)

His live action series (100 episodes)

Then he will release 100000 different versions of these to gain more money for his evil empire and his ambition to replace all humanity with special effects.

I say we revolt and hunt down Lucas like the village folk did with Frankenstein. Until he leaves this planet, he will take every penny that everyones got.

Who needs World War 3 when you got George Lucas and his so called prequel films?

George Lucas has been able to forsee the desires of his public and make a good product. No one forced millions to go to the theaters or to buy the versions in Beta/VHS/DVD. As long as there is sufficient interest, there will be a new version out to purchase. Look at Disney, they have been captilizing longer than Lucas and I don't hear anyone bitching about them being pocket money thieves. How many versions can Snow White, the Lady and the Tramp and Mickey Mouse come out in???? We buy them. So, don't get down on a person for being creative and captilizing on a solid product.

The Empire Strikes Back was first movie I saw on the big screen....and yeah, same here, he's been grabbing money off me for years.

I just wish I could get a refund of the money I spent to watch Phantom Mess and Attack Of The Clowns. Oh well, I have the un-mangled by Lucas versions of the REAL SW movies on DVD now so George can take a short walk off a tall cliff into a deep lake :)

i don't quite see what the huge deal is. Lucas tried to recreate the magic of the 1st trilogy (IV, V, VI) and he failed, not something will ever stay as much as those 3 video clips in the celebrity Wars universe and it quite is not important who's on the helm of them. the unique trilogy and all of the concepts we've of them and how large they are won't be in a position to be offered via Disney. they'll continuously be sitting our DVD shelf whenever you % to relive the actual magic of celebrity Wars, so who cares if Disney provides to the sequence. not something they could do will cut back to rubble those 3 video clips.

It's your choice to spend you money on whatever you want. George Lucas doesn't have a storm trooper holding a blaster to your head or anything.

Personally, I'm perfectly happy to sit here in my Princess Leia bikini and my Vadar helmet tapping at my laptop on the bus

Yeah, that dude steals EVERYONE'S pocket money!
(well, not literally).

The prequels did suck. They were supposed to have special effects but when the whole movie is non-stop special effects then they aren't really special, are they? They are just effects. Kinda defies the whole point.
