If my boyfreind tells me hes just staying at the pub for one more, why does that really mean that he will be another four hours. When he says, i wont fall asleep when i get home, does that turn into him going to sleep till the next day. Why does he wonder why i get so mad!!
Do you think he will actually come home, get ready, not fall asleep and take me out like he has promised all day???

God do I know what you mean. My other half is at the pub now after saying he would only have a couple (he went out 5 hours ago). I am going to order a takeaway for me and the kids soon and if he is not back its tough!!! In answer to your question, it depends on whether it was his idea to go out tonight, if it was yours then you have no chance, and if I was you I would make other plans!!!

Why does he say one thing and do another maybe because you are to demanding of his time and energy. you are his girlfriend not his parent. if he says he's going to the pub with his mates for a few drinks, tell him to have a good time and you will see him when he gets home then instead of sitting at home getting pissed off go out with your friends. the more he feels you are crowding him the more he's going to push back. people in relationships need seperate lives outside of the relationship as well.

Well... it could be one of two things:
* he really means it when he says it and that's what he wants to do but then it never happens... like at the bar chances are his buddies are keeping him there, and the coming home to fall asleep instead of taking you out - again he probably WANTS to take you out but it never ends up happening.

or

*You need to find someone who really wants to spend their time with you and is willing to give up their afternoon nap to take you out every once in a while because YOU deserve someone who will treat you the way you should be treated.

(p.s Cute name:) same as me... even spelt the same!! hah)

he's messed up in the head... you shoudl ask him why he has time for the pub and not you, is the pub more important than you?

Don't ask a man to drink and think.
If he is more hooked on booze than he is on you, kick him into touch.

Listen, ditch him and get someone who cares. You need a bit of TLC and I don't think you will get it with him.
