If you go to work for a company, you'll probably reach a "glass ceiling" where they won't promote you any higher because you don't have a college degree. So you will eventually see people younger than you and with less experience than you earning a lot more money than you. If that doesn't bother you, then go for it!

Well limited education will limit you. However if you just are at the right spot at the right time you could do just fine with a HS Diploma. Or If you don't want to do the 4 year college how about a 2 year or tech school with at trade? And it always gets down to how hard, smart and lucky you are. Whether you have 4 years of college and more of a degree you could still be a successful failure. Or Over educated.

It depends on what your definition of success is and how hard you are willing to work. There are numerous 'successful' people who only hold a high school diploma. They have a house, car, money in the bank, etc.
Similar to people with college degrees, you should find a craft/job/skill that you are good at and practice, practice, practice to be the best at it. This is the same drive people with college degrees tend to focus on. Become a master at what you do.
This is not a guaranteed recipe to get a mansion in the hills, however, over time you will accumulate much wealth, whether it be financial, intellectual or spiritual.
GOOD LUCK!

Billionaires don't usually come from doctorate degree holders either. Education can move people out of poverty but it doesn't necessarily make people wealthy and powerful. After you get hired at a big firm, you only worry about your performance and relationship with your co-workers and employer. It's take more of politics to survive and climb up in career ladder. Making mad money is about selling stuffs in the end. Either selling your labor or buying your labor. Education helps but it's not a deciding factor.

It depends on what your career plans are. Some jobs you can't get into without a college degree. Other places of employment will employ you and help you pay for college so that you can advance further.
