i downloaded google earth but the "layers" feature is missing from the sidebar?

i downloaded google earth but the "layers" feature is missing from the sidebar?

I searched through the "view" function and could only find a turn sidebar on/off function. Any ideas how to get layers to reappear?

Sometimes your firewall will block out stuff you need my suggestion is to take it out of your computor then download it again this time turn off your firewall only if you trust the site in this case i would after you download make sure you turn it back on. its a cool site.

Well, I think you have to repair the 3D map.
