Start timing the contractions...sounds like you may be in labor...You can also be experiencing back labor as well...Good Luck to you~~~~

Usually you can tell if you'll be giving birth within a few weeks because you carry the baby "high" for the last few months, and then it "drops". It's quite visible that the baby has dropped, and is a sign of impending birth - also, because of this, you'll be feeling like urinating a whole lot more than usual. It's very usual to feel exhausted at 40 weeks. Don't worry. Babies have their own schedule. I was 3 weeks' late. I've been unpunctual ever since. LOL! Signs of starting labour are crampy like pains just like menstrual cramps. Other people don't have much warning, but enough to get to the hospital. Don't worry - I'm sure all will be fine. If you're really worried, check with your Obs.

I actually did. The day before I went into labor, I cleaned up the baby's room and got everything in order. I don't know where that energy came from.

go to www.webmd.com and in search type in labor. It will come up with a bunch of stuff about what to expect and what will happen. This should help you have a better idea of what is going on. I hope that helps and hang in there

First of all, you should be exhausted...not only are you overdue but it sounds like you are in labor. If your BH are coming at regular intervals, they are not BH...they are real contractions. Time the contractions and call your doctor.
