It depends - when you are 10 then 20 is old, when you are 20 then 30 is old, when you are 30 then 40 is old, I am 37 and I now think 100 is old.

I'm 45. I remember on a soap where a guy told an older woman "Old age is when your 20 years older than you are now no matter what your age". I'm still 16 in my heart.

Are we talking chronological age or mental image age?
I work with senior adults and though some are in their nineties, they talk, think, laugh, and joke like they are in their twenties (but with more experience). Also, I have worked with folks in their twenties who dress, act, and talk like their are world-weary and ready to give up. Colonel Harlan Sanders decided at age 75+ to begin a chicken franchise called Kentucky Fried Chicken that has done fairly well. He was a "young" radical with his ideas of how to do business on a huge scale. Grandma Moses became a world renowned painter but only began painting in her 80s. Old is determined by mindset, by whether or not you are willing to learn. Staying teachable, open minded, ready to experience new things is what caused one lady, at age 80 to graduate with me from seminary (I was 36) and go into the mission field. She built churches which she planted in seven different countries. One mission magazine had her on the cover, using a chain saw, as she cut down trees to make into boards to build a church in Nigeria. Now I am 47, she is 91, and what is she doing? She is going around the country speaking to youngsters (65-90) encouraging them to get involved!
How "old" are you?

You are only as old as you feel.
I am 27 (pretty young) but I still feel like I'm 18. Although today I feel 95 because I have the flu LOL.
Seriously, I know some 62 year olds who act and feel like they're 25.

It depends on the context as well. I'm 33. If I go into a nightclub, I'm old because most people in there are a decade younger than me. In my workplace I'm relatively young. If I want to have kids, I'd better hurry up.

Age is irrelevant. When I was 50 I decided to go in reverse from then. I'm 40 now.

When I was a child, I thought 30 was old.
Now I am in my 30s and I think 70 is old.
I don't know how I'll feel when I am 70.

To me, 80 is old. My parents are now 75 and 80 and are finally showing their age in how they act. They are healthy, but you can tell that they are older now.*

Old is any age, and young is any age. Age is a number, but "old" is a state of mind.
