What color was the apple you saw in your imagination? What color was the stem? Did you actually see the color? How did you see the color when your eyes were closed? what were you actually looking at if your eyes are closed? Do you dream in color, how is it possible to dream in color, if color is only something you see, youre not really seeing things when you dream its just inside your head?

I dream in color. The apple was green, with a brown stem. You can "see" color in dreams and with your eyes closed because our perceptions of color are really neural impulses in our brain. When our eyes are open, those neural impulses are influenced by the light going into our eyes, which gets converted into an electrical signal and travels to our brain, but we can imagine color by causing those neural impulses ourselves without light causing them.

I don't dream in color. Every dream I can remember is in black and white( and of course gray scale). Every once in a while, I have a dream that will have a spark of color in it, like a red dress or something, but its always black and white. Although I register something as having a specific color, it is still in b&w. I often am half awake when I dream, and frequently remember my dreams so that is the only reason I know. I also don't dream in 1st person. Its always like I am watching a movie. My dreams never make sense either....mine are like surrealist paintings. The best example would be of Salvador Dali's work. I dream about things that don't really exist in real life either....its just so weird. I can't seem to understand why I have such odd dreams that never make any sense.

because when you dream you dont actually see things as you would if you were awake. it is different because you imagine what you are seeing. it is like.. well.. sort of like you cant hurt yoursekf in your dreams. none of it is real. you might hit yourself or something.. haha.. but if you fall, it cant possibly hurt. back to the point to your question.. if i close my eyes then i see a red apple with a brown stem. the reason why i know or see a red apple with a brown stem is because it is imagination. since we were little.. learning fruits, shapes, and letters were suposed to be learned. for this fact, you do not see when you dream. atleast this is my point of view on it.. good question.. i hope i helped..!

I don't know about anyone else but I can tell you I do dream in color. I just dreamed the other night of a purple textured wall. And in the same dream, I had on black fuzzy slippers that turned pink. Not the first time I've dreamed in color.

I don't think that I dream in black and white...I always see color..sometimes,. though, when the dreams are scary..that is when I WISH it were in black and white! LOL!
