Tom's "You died on a Saturday morning. And I had you placed here under our tree...." bit almost gets me going most of the time.
I need some Schwarzenegger... ;)

I just love this movie. And anyone who hasn't seen it or who thinks that don't like it I seriously suggest seeing it or seeing it again. It truly is amazing...
I cried the first time...and every time i watch it comes to me again and again...
Just recently I saw the movie again. What an amazing story and moving meaning. That movie teaches you so much about life and the meaning of it. That life isn't as bad as most people make it seem. That an innocent man can impact so many lives with his innocence. The meaning of the movie to me is that everyone needs to have a better outlook on life. That we need to appreciate more of the little things and not let the big things hold us back. That truly although life may throw us trials and tribulations like a box of chocolates but that we have to just bite into it and get through it even if we don't like it. That we all need to hold true to our values and not sink into a place that feels like there's no hope...
And that is all i have to say about that!....

Yap. Will still cry. "Forrest Gump" is full of laughter and tears.
Forrest Gump : My momma always said, "Life was like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get."
Forrest Gump : Mama always said, dying was a part of life.
My other favourite old movie was "Rain Man".

I love how Forrest experiences some of the nation's most historic moments via digital re-creation...his relationship with Bubba is very touching...due to Forrest's inability to understand subtle social mores, his immediate acceptance of the man without regard to his race is believable despite the time period in which the movie was placed....quality film!

When Forrest asks Jenny if little Forrest is "normal" yah I get a little choked up. As a guy another one for me is Field of Dreams. "Hey dad, want to have a catch?" Every guy knows what he means.
