These are all first degree equations and are very simple to solve, so lets begin.
8k + 2 = -22 (first of all we have to group non incognite with non incognite and incognite with incognite)
8k = -22 - 2 (I put the 2 to the other side of the equation and then its sinal change)
8k = -24
k = -24 / 8 (the same goes here, the 8 was multiplyng and it goes to the other side dividing. )
k = -3
x + 1 = -3 - x
2 x = -4
x = -2
7 - 3y = y + 15
-4 y = 8
y = -2
2w - 3+-w - 15
this last one has +- and i dont know what you wanted to say with this. I will solve in 3 different ways. Check if one these is the one you wanted.
2 w - 3 + w - 15 = 0
3w = 18
w = 6
or
2 w - 3 - w - 15 = 0
w = 18
or
2w - 3 = w - 15
w = -12
I hope I helped you!

1. Solve for k....8k + 2 = -22
First: combine "like" terms - subtract 2 from both sides (when you move a term to the opposite side, always use the opposite sign)....
8k + 2 - 2 = -22 - 2
8k = -22 - 2
8k = -24
Sec: isolate "k" on one side - divide both terms by "8"....
8k/8 = -24/8
k = -24/8
k = - 3
2. Solve for x.... x + 1 = - 3 - x
First: combine the x-variables > add "x" with both sides....
x + x + 1 = - 3 - x + x
x + x + 1 = - 3
2x + 1 = - 3
Sec: subtract 1 from both sides....
2x + 1 - 1 = - 3 - 1
2x = - 3 - 1
2x = - 4
Third: isolate "x" on one side - divide both terms by "2"....
2x/2 = - 4/2
x = - 4/2
x = - 2
P.S. Follow the steps from the previous 2 problems in order to complete the last 2.
