Yes I am generalizing because this is in GENERAL! MEANING MOST OF THE TIME and not all the time!!!

Do you have any credible proof of what you are saying? I'm pretty sure if I had a vagina I could give birth and take it. Plus I got another one for you. If you were too punch a guy and a woman in the stomach, I'm pretty sure the woman would be on the ground crying, whereas the guy would just take it.So much for being ''wussies''. I think this could also be applied to childbirth.

As for raising kids, my dad did a much better job at it than my mom who hit bad me a few times and insulted me.

What are your opinions?

Alexandra I know that did you even bother to read the details? Women think men would die giving birth or not be able to take it even if they had what they needed.

Ok monkey_scout let's ''assume'' guys whine more when sick etc. 1) this does not mean they would die giving birth.
2) Being sick is a different kind of pain than child birth. One that uses your immune sustem.

Wolf read the motherf'in details. Do you honestly think you can take 9 times more pain than I can? I'd love to see that lol.

SO Cristy you're saying that (hmm let's take famous people) Mike Tyson would NOT be able to take as much pain as the best woman boxer?(couldn'find any women boxer.)

Thats pretty much correct. Women like to point out child birth as an example of their strength. Truth is they dont have a choice when it comes time to give birth (unless they choose to abort, which is a sign of weakness more than anything) and men do not have that ability in the first place. So its moot.

My dad also did a much better job as a parent than my mother.

Yet again, women come up short compared to men.

It is not so much a Man vs Woman argument, as it is that every person is different. Some women cope better than other women with childbirth. Some men cope better than other men, some women cope better than some men, and some men cope better than some women.
The fact is that every one has a different tolerance level for pain. Not all women cope well with childbirth. I mean, can you imagine pushing something the size of a watermelon through a hole the size of a lemon? It is pretty crazy stuff. But at the end of the day, the woman is naturally programmed and built to have children. Men are not. If men did have a vagina they would be female, so that argument is just redundant.

I take it there is some angst towards women here, in particular towards your mother? is that the reason for this almost aggressive question? No one would ever imply that men are weak just because they can't give birth to a child. Women just want to prove that they are strong, which we are, and should be immensely respected for the suffering they endure, in order to bring life into the world. Men do make make wonderful fathers and women do make wonderful mothers. But you are right, not al lthe time. And sometimes that comes down to an individual's environment and upbringing. Just because you believe men would not suffer through childbirth, does not automatically mean that they will be good fathers. A woman can suffer through childbirth and still be an awesome mother.

Sorry, bub, but it is scientifcally proven than women have a much higher pain tolerance than men - and this higher tolerance is enhanced by the hormones put out during labor. This gives women the edge over men when it comes to 'taking' the pain of childbirth. Sure, if you had a vagina - and the hormones that go along with it - you could take childbirth .... but then, you'd be a woman. Your argument would be null and void...

(BTW - I take issue with your assumption that a punch in the gut would leave a woman on the ground crying while a guy would just 'take it'. Utter nonsense. This depends on the person, not on the gender of the person!)

Now, that being said - I totally disagree with the assertion that women make better parents than men. That's total rubbish. It doesn't matter what gender you are!

(And as for the 'wolf' person taking nine times more pain than you can ... if she's a woman, chances are ..... it'd be easy for her. So stop with the crap machismo attitude. It's sorely outdated and useless. If it bothers you to be shown up by a woman - too bad! It's going to happen all the time, kid! Deal with it!)

I'm gonna try to not be sexist or biased as i answer. first of all there is a lot more to pregnancy than just childbirth. There's morning sickness and stretching and wild hormones that are unpredictable from pregnancy to pregnancy. I guess a man could carry a fetus to full term and have a delivery through c-section but it could affect the male psychologically in this worlds society where it is still thought that a woman's place is in the house with kids. Also, single fathers can be excellent parents its just that as i mentioned before its not seen favorable by society. i hope this answers your question.

My opinion, there is no way a guy could give birth in the first place... But if he was able to, then he would whine more because I've seen guys take sickness and pain and they whined far more than I ever would. Parenting, it depends on the person. I've seen males do a far better job than a woman, but sometimes they do way worse. Depends. You may assume that you could take it, but it kinda hurts to have your genital area stretched and have a baby forced out of it and then the placenta after it. As for being hit in the stomach, it depends. I could take more hits than a few guys I know, but there are women that never fight, so their not used to the pain.

Whether you had a vagina or not you'd still need a womb... :P

And I think women are better at endurance quite often compared to men. Men may cope better with being punched in the stomach, but when it goes on for hours, I think women are better at coping. Though it's all the individual in the end, male or female. Some women can't cope with birth and need a caesarian (not just for physical reasons) or need drugs but considering how much your bones and muscles have to move I think that's fair.

And I think that this is often a point women make when men take them for granted. The fact is, men can't give birth. And they should be damn grateful their mother did.

I think it comes from how infantile most men behave when feeling under the weather, how they can't find anything even if it's in front of them, how they can't clean anything, how they splash piss everywhere in the bathroom and don't clean it up, and how they don't have much patience with children. Bear in mind that I'm generalizing just as you were and I realize it doesn't apply to all men. Some women don't come with the mothering instinct. Some men have it really strong. It just depends on the individual.

If a girl kicked you in the nuts you'd be crying on the ground where a woman would be just taking it...so much for being a wussy :)

Yeah, here's reasons for ya. Having a vagina isnt going to do it for you. You'll need a womb, ovaries, uterus, in fact a whole set of organs and parts you simply do not and cannot ever. Aside from that, yes, I'm sure there are men who can and DO raise children perfectly well. In fact, it happens all the time.

women have 9 times the threshold for pain a male does.

sometimes men do things better than females. and I've met a few good fathers- but women connect more with their kids. they are condtioned to moms since birth- with baby dolls and playing house. women are also more emotionally understanding and better at expressing feelings.
