My girlfriend just got a ob where heels are a mandatory item to wear so she is on her feet 8-14 hrs daily in heels.
1. What massage techniques work the best to get the sorness out?
2. Any ideas of some different heels she could wear?
3. Would it be acceptable for her to slip her shoes off behind the counter at times just for relief?
4. Any personal stories that would help?
Thank You so Much!

She could try platform style shoes, theres less of a heel but you still get the lift. Or a lower heel with a wider base may help as well.

Best techniques I've found for having a foot massaged, is let them soak in nice warm water for a bit, then just gently rub them as you always would. The hot water helps to relax the muscles so it wont be painful or anything once the hands start to work.

Definately slip the shoes off when you can. I mean if no one sees it, who's it hurting? I had to wear high heels for my old job, any break i had or any oppertunity i got i slipped them off. If she gets a 10 minute break, tell her to try slipping the off for all 10 minutes

Hope this helps

Shoes with a wide heal add more support for your feet and back, and some are really fashionable. You can also get "gel" inserts to help cushion the shoe.

I think having a hot foot bath ready when she comes home and really any type of massage with lotion would feel great

how about a small lift instead of a full heal
