My husband was offered a new job making more money and I am about 8 weeks pregnant, I was told by some people that if he changes jobs then my pregnancy won't be covered by the new insurance is that true?? Can pregnancy be considered a pre Exsiting problem?? Or has anyone been pregnant and changed jobs and if so were you still covered?

First off I would talk to the insurance company, they are the only ones that can tell you 100% if it will be covered or not. From my experience with insurance they do not consider pregnancy a pre-existing condition so you should not have any problems. But I cant promise anything.

unfortunatly yes you might not have insurance, but you may qualify for medicaid. I would find out before he switches jobs though, because you would not even believe how expensive it all is. I mean i have insurance but i can see how much it is on the bills OMG! at least $37,000 total for me and my son i had a cseciton he had a 8 day NICU stay! Poor thing, but hes fine now and I am so glad i didnt have to pay for that! They would have offered me the epidural in labor and i would have said "wait, how much is that?" LOL

You would have to call the insurance company- it varies. I know that the same thing happened to me and it was covered-all insurances are different. Good luck with your baby.
