i noticed that is all they have one thing in common they all have chevy trucks especially the mexicans which also always have a beat up van

It is a "man"thing. It is the most important thing to them to feel manly and to be thought of as manly. Trucks are big and powerful, can can crush most things in its way. Men want to be able to do this too.

not all rednecks have to have chevy's, my husband and all his friends are religionus about their fords. Now, as for the mexicans i don't know, but the rednecks do alot of working outside and they need something dependable. It's all about what features are important to them.

Thats stereotyping alot of people. Not every redneck or Mexican have those vehicles. Alot of people say that though and i find that disrespecting them in away. Maybe u see it alot where u are from, but i dont see that alot.

Because they cannot afford a better car, and because these people usually work with construction so they need to haul and move stuff around.
