With my first child (I have 3 now), it took about 2 years and I wasn't even on birth control. I almost lost faith in getting pregnant but when you don't expect it, it happened to me.

Hi, I had a miscarriage in Aug. 2004. I was able to get pregnant with my middle son in Nov. 2004, it was pretty fast. I am pregnant now and we weren't really trying. I think if you know exactly when you ovulate, your chances of becoming pregnant are much greater. :) You should try having intercourse 24 hours after you ovulate. It does work! Good luck! Oh, I am in my early 30's. If age seems to be an issue.

When I decided to get pregnant, I got off the pill.

I went one menstrual cycle without getting pregnant, but got pregnant 2 weeks after that. I was 38 when I got pregnant.

Well with my first - 6 months
With my second - 6 months
With my third - 1 accident 5 years after my second and two days after my period.
Now with my 4th - I have no idea - Used precautions - very careful - and still got pregnant.
I had dreams for about 3 months and this nagging feeling about being pregnant so I freaked - barely had sex with my husband and was very careful when we did, and I am pregnant - go figure.
I guess God was warning me through my dreams and no matter what I did to prevent it, I still got pregnant. I guess it was meant to be.Even though we are freaked out about it.

Not long considering. We were married in late October of 2001 and we were pregnant by January of 2002 after several cycles of injectibles and laprascopic surgery for endometriosis. I know of some who had fertility problems who took 11 years before they finally got pregnant.

With both pregnancies I was pregnant within 2 months of first starting to try to conceive. It doesn't happen that quickly for everyone, though, so don't sweat it if it's taking time for you. I've heard that doctors believe that it's not unusual for it to take up to a year.

Well I was on birth control pills for 4 years. I stopped taking them to TTC, and 4 weeks later I was pregnant. It was alot easier than I thought it would be.
