I have learned that these harmful chemicals are actually causing allergies, asthma and many other problems. These people do not have a voice. They're stuck with where they live and the State says they have to have these items in their centers. We need to get them out and provide an alternative way to clean and kill bacteria. I have found a company that provides these things but the centers' hands are tied until the state says otherwise. We need to change the law. I have started a letter to the senator of my state. But is there anything else I need to provide?

have you considered the cost?
those companies that provide eco-friendly alternatives are usually expensive.

also, the cleaning products may only be aggravating existing asthma and allergies in children. i have learned/researched that more children develop allergies/asthma from introducing solid foods and dairy products too early in their diets as infants.
as for seniors in nursing homes, many with compromised immune systems, most are on several medications and each med have a host of side effects making them susceptible to asthma/allergies from the meds and outside sources as well.

As a nurse we do not use 409 but I have used bleach and if you studied the facts you would know why , it will kill any bacteria growing, are you trying to make a profit off the other chemical( if it kills bacteria it is a chemical no matter what they tell you) you want to use and if you are I would research it extremely well because if you cause damage to people you will be liable.

In democratic countries like yours, civil society groups (environmentalist and health crusaders) and lobbyists are effective pressure groups. Try to contact leaders of this group and they will surely help you if they think it is sensible to fight for your cause. These pressure groups will make representation with your elected officials and appointed officials whose concern is your problem. Do it now otherwise you will consider it a failure.

"The good of the many out weigh the good of the few". I don't know who said it but it holds so true. I don't think you have a chance in the world.
