Everyone in my household is extremely sensitive to household chemicals, and I've tried just about everything that's already been mentioned. I do like the Method brand that's sold at Target, but I highly recommend the Mrs. Meyers Clean Day products. Three great fragrances, and lots of natural cleaning power that doesn't induce itching here at home!

There's a brand of cleaning products called Method that you can find at Target and some other grocery stores. I buy it because I like their products' design, but they also claim that they make their cleaners from natural sources because they don't like the impact that man-made chemicals have on the environment. You might like their glass cleaner. (Although it's probably just the best version of vinegar for cleaning glass.)

Hey Bunna, Dilute white vingear with water and store it in a spray bottle. Your glass table top will have a clean brillant shine AND it will be safe for you son to play and eat on. And best of all that's one less toxic substance that you have to keep the little fellow away from.
Hope I helped

Here's a web page of all environmental, pet and kid friendly non-toxic cleaners. They're not that expensive and well worth it when you have little ones.
Lysol puts out a Food Surface Sanitizer that is great for cleaning countertops after you are preparing food. Its safe and non toxic. I clean off the tray of my daughters high chair with it.

Invisible Glass, in a can. It evaporates 100% and contains no soaps. Is a bit foamy but does not streak on windows. We love it. Is found in Automotives at Walmart.

You could just use diluted ammonia or diluted white vinegar. They evaporate and don't leave anything behind even though they stink when you are using them.
