if someone from Plymouth Mass sent out DVDs yesterday to me and I live in Pawtucket RI, how long do you think they would take to arrive?

Depends on what method was used.

Standard USPS shipping: 3-5 days.
Priority mail: 2-3 days.
Express mail: 1-2 days.
Sundays aren't counted.
