Fist off CONGRATULATIONS! Some people feel their babies early, a friend of mine felt her baby at 13 weeks, I didn't start feeling mine until 18. They do respond to anything cold(you were eating ice cream). My doctor have me a tip to drink water and lie still on my back with both hands on my belly. The slight pressure encourages them to poke back.

You are probably not far enough along for that to be the baby, especially since this is your first. I am 17 weeks with my second and still haven't felt it move. With my first, I didn't feel him until I was 19 weeks. If you are VERY slender, you could feel it as early as 16 weeks though.

I felt my baby move at 13 weeks during my first pregnancy. I weighed 88 lbs when i got pregnant and they say when you are very thin you feel things a little sooner. Congrats on feeling the baby!

it is very possible to have felt the baby. Your senses are highened and so it is very possible. It is an awesome feeling when you feel your baby move for the first time. Just don't be suprised if you don't feel the baby move for a couple of weeks. Once you get further along you will be feeling the baby move all the time. Congrats on baby

since this is your first pregnancy, i would have to say gas. although, in a second pregnancy, as early as 11 or 12 weeks isn't all that abnormal. it feels a lot like gas bubbles when it actually is your baby. babies tend to be more active after mommy eats something and then lays still for a while. so, it sounds like it's a possibility. congrats!

13 weeks is 3 months, so it does seem a bit early. I first felt my son move around 5 months. It did feel similar to gas bubbling through the intestines at first.

It's a bit too early. Your first flutters of quickening will come at about 15-18 weeks. It is very normal to be gassy at this point, and it will start to feel different even to have gas as your uterus is pushing against your other organs. Wait until you feel your stomach rumble under your ribcage, lol!

It could've been! I first felt my son when I was 14 weeks pregnant and laying halfway on my stomach. It'll be a little longer until you feel your baby without laying on your stomach, but it could've been your little one!

It's so weird, isn't it?
