Bleeding after sex is not normal unless it is your first time. See your doc to find out what is going on.

How old are you? If it is your first time, your bleeding could be because your hymen, the thin membrane that signifies your virginity, has been torn. It is nothing to worry about in that case. If you are not sufficiently aroused, you will have vaginal dryness, which can also cause some bleeding from the friction of the penetration. A vaginal lubricant available at drug stores or Walmart should help with this problem. But please use protection. VD is especially risky if there is any opening to the blood stream from the sex act, not to mention the risk of pregnancy.

Are you a quick mounter? Maybe you should take it slower, start with a finger, then two, and let things stretch out first.
You might have a blood vessel that's close to the surface somewhere that keep getting split.
Can you tell where the blood is comming from? Deep inside or near the outside?
It's ok to ask your gyno on this one, that's what they're for and they can actually look to see where the problem is.

I hope you are practising safe sex.
No it is hardly normal. May be if it is your first time or if your partner is eXXXXecptionally huge or he is using penile jewellery.
Not withstanding any of the above, please get a thorough transvaginal checkup from your Gynaec including biopsies and or scopies.

My guess is that it's no big deal, but if it worries you enough see a doctor. You aren't going to get an informed medical dianosis on here.

Unless it is close to your period or shortly thereafter, it is not
normal.

The best is always see the gynecologist to get check and discuss the situation.
