I'm a teacher, and I feel so sorry for kids who have odd names like that, that no one can pronounce. The teachers have a hard time saying the sames at first, they get made fun of by other kids, and it's pretty much just a difficult childhood. Not to mention it makes it difficult as an adult. It's hard on adult in the business world when prospective employers and clients can't say their name. Too many people get passed over for jobs just because the employer or client doesn't want to be struggling with name pronunciation.

While I agree with some concerns a few respondents have had, an 'original' name can be a nice opportunity to 'honor' a child.
Try Nevaeh Phoenix over Nevaeh True, though, please - I can only cringe to think of children or teachers snickering over the idea of a child cheating or lying with the name (and I'm going to be crude here and use a dysfunctional phonetic of it) - "Never True." (No, I'm not insinuating your child would lie or cheat ... merely that putting a child in the position of being introduced with a difficult name can be sooooooooooooooooo unfair for the child.
May parenting be your calling!

Neither one, though Phoenix might be a neat middle name, but please not with Nevaeh, it is so overused at the moment. There are many websites out there that have many wonderful and uniqie names for little girls, don't make her be one of many with the same name.
You also want to give a child a name that you can pronounce when you are giving them the old "First name, Middle name, Get over here" treatment, You all should remember this from your own childhood.

Please not Nevaeh. It is so over used and is just going to end up as a trend name that won't last. This name is no longer unique. I good way to find a unique name is to revive an old classic with an updated spelling. That being said, this is your child. Whatever name you like.

I think they sound like great names for dolls or little dogs that celebrities carry around in their bags.
A name is a gift you give your child, it has to last a lifetime. It is not a game.
Your names make it sound like your child is all alone in the world. There was nothing before her and nothing after. It's a lonely sound. Each child is a continuation and a chance to live differently. What she needs to begin are connections to her family, to history and to tradition. Please, take her seriously enough to give her something meaningful to everyone she meets.

I heard on the radio that right now Navaeh is the most popular baby name. Do you really want you child to go to school and be the 5th Navaeh in her class? I'm Ashley and there were always like 3 other Ashleys in my class or anywhere I go. I hate it.

I've been trying to figure this latest name craze out. Is it the opposite of heaven or just backwards like god and dog? Is Phoenix a pagan reference or a River/Joaquin/Leaf etc... thing? Have you considered Apple or Dakota or some other silly celebrity copy-cat name?

Well my first thought is, how on earth do you pronounce that? Be careful, it's not fun to be a kid who's name no one can figure out...
