I've had my house for sale for some time now and am getting very aggravated that it is not selling. I am ready to walk away but don't want to ruin my credit of course. I am not finacially desperate here, I just need more room for my family. Please help!!!

It looks very nice. Maybe you should talk to your realtor about lowering your price to make it more attractive to prospective buyers.

The easy answer it SELL IT TO ME! as an investor of real estate, I'm always looking for good deals. Now if that isn't an option, you should be aware that how your house shows, the price and the market exposure it receives will make selling your house fast or slow. If one of the 3 factors is less than perfect, it will slow down the sale. So if you home looks good and shows well that leaves price and market exposure. Ask your agent for a report with evidence of the marketing done. Many agents will do a "Just listed" postcard and run a sunday ad or two. Find out if this factor is less than perfect. Finally, think of price. Only consider lowering the price if you feel the property was marketed effectively, it shows well and you've had at least 5 showings (an arbitrary number that meets national averages). If you lower your price - DO NOT PLACE A "PRICE REDUCED" sign. The first thing people think when they see such a sign is "what's wrong with the place?" A "NEW PRICE" or "PRICE ADJUSTED" sign relays the same message without the negative response.
Be sure to evaluate all three measures before making a decision. Trust your agent or your agent's broker to give you good advice here. Afterall - they don't make money until you do!

Well, if you live in Michigan where I live, the economy is so bad that the only way to get rid of a house quickly is to give it away for free!!! The average time houses are sitting on the market for sale here in the area of Michigan where I live is almost 2 years! Sorry, I don't think there's any magic that will sell your house quickly no matter where you live.

There are no pictures of the bathroom anywhere in that tour. Kitchen and bathroom are often the top things people look for.
The price seems reasonable for the area.
You may want to consider renting it out instead of selling it.
If you want to get rid of it fast, consider putting it up for auction.

Since the market is so tight, you could try a trade with someone. Maybe there are some people that would like to downsize. Ask your realtor to look for some opportunities to trade.

In many parts of the country now, houses are just not selling or selling for less then they are worth.
Have you considered building up to get more square footage?

All you can really do is keep dropping the price and make sure that your realtor is aggresive, posting ads in every realtor guide imaginable and on every website there is out there.

Close all the windows and doors, turn the stove on, so it can release gas, all four of the burners,
leave it like that for a while, come back to your house, throw a rock covered in burning toilet paper, and your house will disappear.
Or just use buyowner, their service it pretty awsome.

I have answered this same question by you at least 5 times now.
LOWER THE PRICE!!!!! If you do not want to lower it any more, you will have to just sit and wait.
Maybe the Realtor is not doing his job well, you may want to look into that.
