does it have a choke? is it all the way in? is the gas new or old? is this the first time you used it? Did you remember to mix the oil and gas ? does it have seperate oil tank? sounds like it starts on the primer gas but won't run on the regular gas feed which should be a gravity feed. If you can see the carb, maybe remove the gas line and see if anything is coming out.

Drain all fuel from tank, spray some carburetor cleaner into tank, blow out tank with compressed air, remove fuel filter, clean, drain all old fuel from fuel line. Put all back together add new fuel. Go and get the snow....
